BURST Camp 

Burst Camp is a programme that has been running since the Summer of 2009 and since then has grown from strength to strength.  Ofsted registered multi-activity camps run every school holiday during the times of 8.30 - 5.30 to suit the average working day.  It has recently received Lottery funding and has four new homes in Richmondshire

Richmond:  Richmond Sports Complex
Catterick:   Catterick Leisure Centre
Colburn:     Colburn Sport and Recreation Centre
Askrigg:     Yorebridge Sport and Fitness Centre

Burst Camps will be run by the new highly qualified Sport and Play Officers and activities will include arts and crafts, multi-sport games, dance, drama, specific sports coaching as well as fun playground games.  In addition to the day to day activities a number of trips and single events will be put on throughout the week. These will come at no extra cost and some examples are fun sessions to the swimming pool, a trip to the fire station, wildlife trust days, story telling days, a Richmond castle trip, a trip to the Green Howards and a trip to Richmond police station.

Funding support for parents

Richmondshire Leisure Trust are aware that even though we drive down our prices as low as possible so that families can access our service, getting the money to do so can still be different.  Government working tax credits can be an extra source of support for parents to access the Burst Camp schemes as they are Ofsted registered.  For more information please follow this link.

TIME: 8.30 am - 5.30 pm every day
PRICES (per child): £15 per day (1-4 days), £60 for the full week (1 day free)
AGE: 5 - 13 years old

TIME: 10.00 am - 3.00pm
PRICES (per child): £6 per day (1-4 days), £25 for the full week  
AGE: 5 - 13 years old
